Dream Scribers was co-founded by Natalie Bonner and Toccara Nicole, who shared a vision in 2019 to empower others through writing and publishing. That vision became a reality on September 15, 2021, when Dream Scribers officially launched through Talented Tenth Social Services, Inc.—proof that timing truly is everything.

This virtual, 12-week, no-cost program is designed to support youth in writing, publishing, and marketing their own books. Dream Scribers not only nurtures creativity but also opens doors to new opportunities.

To date, the Dream Scribers program has completed 7 cohorts and worked with 29 individual youth, 45 students enrolled in an afterschool program, and 10 adults. Our Dream Scribers span several states, including Illinois, Georgia, Nebraska, and California.
